incimutlu.com.trİnci Mutlu is an artist working across painting, sculpture, furniture, packaging and industrial design. The brief was a site that could present the work category by category and grow over time under her own hand.
WordPress was ruled out. The site is custom built and ships with an admin panel, so she can change product images, categories and the opening image sequence herself.
The backbone of the work is a written design system: colour, typography and spacing decisions live in three-layer tokens (primitive → semantic → component) in W3C DTCG format. CSS and a Tailwind colour map are generated from those tokens, and the visual style guide is fed from the same source — so decisions do not drift as the site grows.
One image rule was settled early: every artwork image is 3:4 portrait. Since her archive contains no landscape material, wide areas are composed from three portrait images placed side by side.
